Family Business
Jun 17th, 2011 by Michelle

I came across this picture and thought how totally blessed I am to work with my family and still have just as much fun as we were are in the picture (my mom is most likely behind the camera).  As an only child I have spent most of my life with my parents either socially or in business and we are still very close.  Since starting Michelle’s Miracle it has been awesome that both my mom and dad can work with me.  Talk about having your back!  As a start up company every day could be the best or worst day of your life, but when family is there to understand help it makes all the difference in the world and keeps me going!  Plus there is so much to celebrate together!  I felt compelled to share this as I don’t think anything can be better than family and it does not have to be by blood family comes in many forms!  Never walk away mad becuase you just never know what the next minute can bring!  Thanks Mom and Dad!

Mouth Watering Michelle’s BBQ Sauce
Jun 3rd, 2011 by Michelle

I may have blogged about my BBQ sauce before, but I just have to do it again.  Last weekend we had 20 people at our house.  I made my favorite BBQ sauce and it was a hit!  I made enough chicken to feed 30 hoping to make chicken salad for the next day.  Well there was not one piece left!  Everyone was raving and of course I was thrilled and proud to use a product that has so many health benefits and is so easy to use!  Michelle’s Miracle Tart Cherry Concentrate is amazing for your health and incrediably easy to use.  Below is my recipe and or your local health food store is the best place to find Michelle’s Miracle.

Michelle’s BBQ Sauce

½ Cup Michelle’s Miracle

2 Cups Ketchup

1 Cup Honey

1 Onion

Mix together, cook for about an hour on low.  Let cool, marinate the Chicken with half the sauce.  When grilling continually basting additional sauce.

This is one of my favorites as the sauce sticks to the meat and becomes a bit crunchy!

Is Giving Really Recieving?
Mar 25th, 2011 by Michelle

I can’t believe it has already been a year since our return from the Orphanage Outreach trip we ventured on with no idea what we were in for.  When we arrived in the Dominican Republic last year it was very late and we could not see a thing.  We slept in barrack style, bunks, took navy showers and applied tons of bug spray.  By the time it was light I was ready to go, there were sounds of children starting their day in play and laughter.

I went there to do something good, thinking that we would give so much to the children.  Wow, was I wrong!  The whole time we were there my twin boys were smiling and it was not because they just won a video game match, it was because a new friend taught them how to dunk a basketball!  I was behind the camera most of the time watching through the lens, and I can tell you how many times I became teary eyed at the difference our new friends were making  in our lives.  Dominicans live in the moment, they are not concerned with time or deadlines and that is something I wish we could do more of here – live in the present (the gift to be alive).

We loved it so much we are going back tomorrow!  I am excited to see friends I made last year and meet new ones.  It is my hope that each time we go I can bring back a piece of their way and incorporate it into my own life.  I have come to the conclusion that “giving” is not what we think of when it comes to time with people.  We have recieved so much more!  Orphange Outreach is an amazing program! check it out!

Comfort Food with a Tart Cherry Twist
Jan 16th, 2011 by Michelle

My mom makes the best meat loaf and I am proud to say she has taught me the recipe with exact results.  She makes the meat loaf like most recipes, egg, bread crumbs, onions, etc.  It is the sauce that makes it so amazing, it consists of Catsup, Worcestershire, a titch of mustard, and brown sugar.  We put half on top of the meat loaf and bake for about 45 minutes at 350 and then add the rest of the sauce.  Continue to bake for another 45 minutes.

Today I decided that Michelle’s Miracle Tart Cherry Concentrate would be awesome to mix with the Catsup. Guess what…. yep just as I suspected it was amazing!  There are so many ways to use Michelle’s Miracle to make unique and extremely tasty recipes~  Enjoy!!!!

Until recently I had not thought about how many pounds of tart cherries Michelle’s Miracle has purchased.  I just had not thought about it as I  had been focusing on educating as many people as possible on the health benefits of a 100% natural Tart Cherries grown in Northern Michigan, whom many refer to as “God’s Country” myself included for sure!  However, after I figured it out, I was even surprised that we have purchased close to 6 million pounds of tart cherries.  This started with one bottle at a time and very little resources.  We have only just begun to ramp and tell the world about the power of tart cherries.  It is such a great feeling to help people all over to feel better and to conserve the land at the same time.  My hope is that if you read only this, you will be enticed to learn more about Michelle’s Miracle and the amazing health benefits of tart cherries.
